The Blue Alumni summer Client reception, held last night at Getty Images' Gallery in London, was a great success. Hosted by 25 Blue Alumni members it was attended by over 100 clients who were able to meet Blue Alumni consultants and network with other clients. Organiser Sue Thompson said, 'The success of the evening was once again down to the number of clients who made the effot to attend, the food and drink and the fantastic central London locations of the Getty Images gallery'.

A team of Blue Alumni consultants has been appointed to support the implementation of a new Operating Model within Nationwide Building Society. The team is to be led by Jocelyn Matthews, supported by Simon Slater and David Mansell, will work with client staff to deliver the 2 year programme which will re-focus the back office support functions on improved customer service.

The Blue Alumni Procurement Group has won a major new contract with the John Lewis Partnership. Linda Crotty and Sue Thompson will be developing the Blueprint Design for the new integrated Goods not for Resale (GNFR) Procurement organisation spanning Waitrose, John Lewis and Corporate headquarters.

Retiring Chairman, Jocelyn Matthews today announced that Richard Surgett will be succeeding her as Chairman of Blue Alumni. “I’m very pleased that Richard has agreed to be step up to this role, he brings great enthusiasm, significant consulting experience and is ideally suited to promoting the company”, she commented. Richard added “we would all like to thank Jocelyn for the huge commitment she has given to the role over the last three years and for the great progress that the company has made on her watch.
